DESCRIPTION:
New Horizons is the Washtenaw County centralized program for Physically or Otherwise Health Impaired (POHI) students age 10-25. Our students are either wheelchair bound or have other health problems which preclude their enrollment in a mainstream school. Students participate in academic classes, physical therapy, occupational therapy, gym, swimming, and speech. The program is housed in a brand new building along with a regular elementary school to facilitate mainstreaming.

Outreach vehicle (if available), your own car.
PREREQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS:
No special prerequisites required.
TRAINING:
No special training required.
TIMES:
The program runs from 8:30 am-2:30 pm, Mon-Fri.
