Tools for schools, parents and doctors to recognize and treat kids with mental health issues can be found at a site sponsored by Massachusetts General Hospital. This site has practical approaches to use with children who have problem behaviors. The suggestions are grouped by age category. There is also an extensive list of screening tools and rating scales that can help diagnose a problem or condition.

Families for Depression Awareness is a website targeted toward developing and encouraging family awareness of depression. They are also pilot testing tools to help parents and kids to track symptoms associated with medications.

Children's Emotional HealthLink is a web site offers free tools to help pediatricians diagnose psychosocial and behavioral problems as well as resources for parents. The goal is to train parents and physicians and other health care providers how to work together.
