Sample Record 5

See the General Introduction for an explanation of structure in records.

1693. Missale Romanum. (Saragossa: Coci, Jorge; March
1507). Roman usage.
This is a ghost. The NUC pre-1956 cataloguing record,
which is the only evidence for this edition, is based on old
local cataloguing from New York HS. There is no independent
bibliographical evidence for the existence of the March 1507
edition. The error arose from a misreading of the colophon of
Jorge Coci's 23 Feb. [vii kls. marcias] 1510 edition of the
Missale Romanum, which at New York HS perpetuates the same
mistaken date in its binder's title (see RELICS 6149).
     Citations: NUC pre-1956 99: 0219239.
     Locations: New York HS.
     Keys: Missal. Status: Incomplete.
