gepieten, Wie man sich bayde mit der Leer vnd Ceremonien halte solle
MDXXXIII.  (Colophon, f. Z7v): Gedruckt zu Nu[e]rnberg durch Jobst
Gutknecht. (Nuremberg: Gutknecht, Jobst; 1533).  Lutheran, Nuremberg
usage.
     In 8vo. [3], CLXXVI, [1] (= 180) folios.
     Closely related to RELICS 3654 and 9975, two editions of a
Catechumenary with same typeface and city of printing, and great
similarity in t-p text.  Cf. RELICS 9978.  Black and red t.p., the
remainder in black only.  Woodcut t.p. border.
     Both Budapest OSK copies collate: A-X in 8s, Y in 4, Z in 8 [$2 Y; $4
Z; $5 A-X (-A1, L4 M4) signed].  Copy Ant. 5577 (155 x 95) is bound with
RELICS 3654 in stamped leather over wood with two clasps partially
missing.  Front cover has a portrait of Christ in a circle with the
legend, "EGO SVM VIA VERITAS ET VITA QVI SEQVITVR ME NON AMBVLAT IN
TENEBRIS. 1571."  Copy Ant. 6477 (143 x 95) is bound in stamped pigskin
over boards with two clasps.  It is bound with RELICS 9975 and "Auslegung
der Zehen gepot aus dem xix. vnd xx. Cap. des Andern buchs Mosi gepredigt
durch Mart[in] Luth[er]."
     The New York GTSem copy (155 x 96) collates A-X in 8s, Y in 4, Z in
8.  Bound with Catechismus oder Kinderpredig (Passau: Johannes Petri,
1533).  Binding of contemporary blind-tooled leather over wooden boards,
wanting two clasps.
