AmberThe Amber of "Outrageous Fortune" is not all that different from the books, but there are a few deviations, the main one being that the castle was destroyed by Sand, and the rebuilding was only recently completed. One of the major improvements has been the addition of private bathrooms to the quarters of individual family members. The King has the rooms on the top-most floor, with lowest floor being inhabited by Oberon's children, the second floor by their children, etc. Benedict's men guard the Pattern room and the dungeons. Due to the recent marriages of most of Oberon's children, they are in the process of establishing estates outside of the city, and no longer reside in the castle on a regular basis, except in times of crisis.
As for the city itself, it is slowly recovering from the effects of the tsunami that devastated the port and surrounding area after the original Ygg was destroyed. Notable institutions that have arisen since the tsunami include:

Adrian: Ten-year-old son of Grayson and Abigail, half brother of Jasper, Nigel and Tristan. He has red hair and his father's green eyes and is logical, sensitive, pleasant almost to the point of being ingratiating, and awkward.
Arawn o' the Willows: Ten-year-old son of Jack o' the Willows and Alexandra, twin brother of Pwyll, older half brother of Lethe, he has pointed ears, baby blue eyes and golden blond hair. Hopeful but sour, loyal but suspicious, there is a definite dichotomy in his personality. Due to the efforts of Alexandra to shapeshift the faerie blood out of her child while she was pregnant, two children were created instead, one with faerie blood and one without. Arawn is the faerie twin.
Ariadne (also known as Spider) (deceased):
Hellmaid daughter of Benedict and

Hendrake. She was missing for several
years, before she turned up working as a bodyguard for
Arthur, who had used rituals effective on Hellmaids to bind her to
him. After being freed from his influence, she worked as Ahab's bodyguard, until she was killed by the
Serpent while trying to protect Ahab. Her symbol was a black widow
descending her thread, and her colors were red, purple and
black.
Arthur: Crown Prince of Rebma, Prince of Amber, son of Corwin and Moire, younger half brother of Morganthë, Ahab and Meander, older half brother of Merlin. He is about 6'4" tall and solidly built, with green eyes and dark green-black hair. He looks much like Ahab, but his features are a bit more refined, and the chin isn't quite so prominent. He walked the Pattern at the age of eight, which drove him slightly mad. He was obsessed with the notion that Corwin was the rightful king of Amber, and was trying to put him back on the throne, whether Corwin wanted to rule or not. He eventually regained his sanity, due in part to possessing Ahab's body for close to a century, and in part to some "help" from Fiona. He turned himself in, and his execution was ordered by Oberon, until Moire agreed to marry Oberon, in exchange for Arthur's life. Arthur was then put on the throne of Rebma to replace her, but Oberon was incapacitated before the marriage could take place, and Moire returned to the Rebman throne, much to Arthur's relief.
Barton Barimen: Duke of Amber, Ten-year-old son of Bartholomew and Lyss, younger half brother of Darby, older brother of Darwin. Barton is one of the children who was conceived due to the energy released when the Jewel of Judgment was reformed, and is expected to have a special affinity for the Pattern as a result. Like all of the children conceived due to the destruction or reformation of the Jewel, he has very pale blue eyes.
Bastion Barimen: 11-year-old son of Benedict and Magdalyn, younger half brother of Ariadne and Miranda, older brother of Elliot.
Brendan: 11-year-old son of Shard and Bridget.
Bridget: Mother of Brendan, she was a barmaid at an inn in some nameless Shadow where Laughter's Wild Hunt stopped to wind down. During this night, she slept with both Felix and Shard, and became pregnant as a result. She was found by Felix, who returned to the Shadow several years later, to check if he had left behind any offspring, since he slept with several women that night. Since the Shadow was running slower than Amber, Bridget had not yet given birth, and was brought back to Amber. The question of who the child's father was remained unresolved until his birth, when Ariana was able to determine that the father was Shard. Why the Shadow was slowed after the Wild Hunt's visit, and by whom, has not yet been determined. Ariana later discovered that Bridget has Amber blood, and is descended from Ona's branch of the family. She is most closely related to Gavin, Vixen and Clarissa, and therefore is probably a granddaughter of Ona, although her exact parentage has yet to be resolved.
Brinnan Jesby: 11-year-old daughter of Barnabas and Llewella, younger half sister of Bartholomew and Constance, twin sister of Llewellan.
Clare Hendrake: Six-year-old daughter of Ishmael and Maddy, younger sister of Duncan and Daffyd, older half sister of Finn, older sister of Reese, she has blue eyes and red hair. A bit vain when it comes to her musical talent, she is otherwise a fairly humble and solitary child. She was born in Amber on Sunday, August 13, 4 NR.
Corbin Barimen (deceased): Crown
Prince of Amber, five-year-old son of Nicholas
and Beauty, heir to the thrones of
Amber and Chaos. He was born in Rath
on Saturday, July 15, 2994, Amber time and died in early December, 4 NR.
He was smothered in his sleep by Nicholas, who had gone mad and wished
both to spare Corbin from being used as he had, and to remove his only
remaining vulnerability. Nicholas secretly laid him to rest in Foil, next
to the body of his mother, and most of the family remains unaware that he
is dead.
Crispin Barimen: 16-year-old son of Felix and Tamaryn, younger brother of Foster, older brother of Donal. He was born in Bedlam on Tuesday, July 18, 2994, Amber time.
Daffyd Hendrake: Eight-year-old son of Ishmael and Maddy, younger brother of Duncan, older brother of Clare and Reese, older half brother of Finn. He has black eyes and hair and tends to be hopeful, witty and mischievous. He was born in Amber on Saturday, August 23, 2 NR.
Darby Barimen: 16-year-old son of Drumman and Lyss, older half brother of Barton and Darwin. He has dark emerald hair and light green eyes, and is a bit nervous and jumpy.
Darwin Barimen: 11-year-old son of Bartholomew and Lyss, younger half brother of Darby, younger brother of Barton.
Devlin Barimen: 16-year-old son of Fenar and Mirelle, younger half brother of Ariana. He resembles his father in looks, with curly black hair and brown eyes, but has inherited his mother's small stature. He is both mischievous and wise, sometimes demonstrating compassion beyond his years. He was born in Bedlam on Tuesday, July 18, 2994, Amber time.
Donal Barimen: 14-year-old son of Felix and Tamaryn, younger brother of Foster and Crispin. He was born in Bedlam on Tuesday, July 18, 2994, Amber time.
Driscoll Barimen: Duke of Amber,

Prince of Amber, former Amber ambassador to Chaos, son of Random and
Dorienne, older half brother of

Clytemnestra, wielder of Song. Driscoll is 6'4" tall and slender,
with snow-white hair and bright blue eyes, although his eyes are often
hidden behind non-mirrored sunglasses. He has ties of unknown origin to
House Helgram in Chaos, and is known in
the Unseelie Court as the Dragon
Prince, due to his maternal heritage. His symbol is a dragon, and his

Duncan Hendrake: Ten-year-old son of Ishmael and Maddy, older brother of Daffyd, Clare and Reese, older half brother of Finn, he has blue/green eyes and pale blond hair. Like his father, he tends to be somewhat vain and proud, but thankfully he inherited his mother's analytical mind. He was born in Amber on Friday, August 3, 0 NR.
Elliot Barimen: Nine-year-old son of Benedict and Magdalyn, younger half brother of Ariadne and Miranda, younger brother of Bastion.
Elspeth Barimen: Marchioness of Amber, 26-year-old daughter of Foster and Laughter, younger sister of Haris and Iseult, younger half sister of Paxon and Isaac. Of all of Laughter's children, she is the most like Fiona. Her symbol is an apple on a divided field, half black, half white. She was born in Bedlam on Tuesday, July 18, 2994, Amber time.
Eris Barimen: Marchioness of Amber, daughter of Driscoll and Elen, younger half sister of Hope, older half sister of Paxon and Isaac, bonded rider of Mercury, wielder of Cristilweir. She is 5'7" tall and weighs about 120 lbs., with curly brown hair and her father's bright blue eyes.
Finn: Ten-year-old son of Ishmael and an Unseelie Queen, younger half brother of Duncan, Daffyd and Clare, older half brother of Reese, he has black hair, green eyes and large, pointed ears.
Flavia Barimen: Princess of Amber, Chameleon's sister, married to Julian, mother of Jewel, formerly of House Bances. She is 5'5" tall and of medium build, with a sprinkling of freckles across her nose, green eyes, and red-gold hair that is straight and falls to her shoulders.
Foster Barimen: Marquis of Amber, son of Felix and Tamaryn,
older brother of Crispin and
Donal, married to Laughter and Driscoll, father of Haris, Iseult and Elspeth, bane of
Felix's existence, formerly of House
Vetch. Foster is 5'8" tall and weighs about 200 lbs., including Gordon and lots of muscle. He is a
study in contrasts, with curly black hair, a blue-green right eye and a
brown left eye. Conceived as part of
Lucien's plan to breed children that were both of Amber and Chaos due
to the additional power they could possess, his existence was kept secret
from Felix. Taken from Tamaryn when he was only eight, Lucien spent 50
years training him to be an assassin, with only moderate success. Foster
had a tendency to only succeed when he thought his target actually
deserved to die, and no amount of punishment could break him of this
habit. Lucien eventually gave up and decided to use him as a spy,
instead, sending him to Amber disguised as a 10-year-old version of
himself. This brought him into contact with his father for the first
time, and he proved no better a spy than he did an assassin. He was
released from his obligations to House Vetch when his mother won her
freedom. While trying to grow a new Ygg, Foster's mind was erased by
Brand, who was opposed to the project. By walking the Pattern, he was
initially able to restore his memories of who people were, and his
feelings for them, but not the events behind those feelings. In time, his
full memory returned to him. His symbol is a coiled snake.
Gideon Barimen: 16-year-old son of Gérard and Isabeux, younger brother of Felix and Vivienne. He was born in Bedlam on Tuesday, July 18, 2994, Amber time.
Grayson Barimen (also known as
Doran): 71-year-old son of Brand and Ariana, younger half brother of Heather,
Rinaldo, Jalana, Morgan, Ana
and Briana, older half brother of Bryan and
Dorian, father of Adrian,
Jasper, Nigel and
Tristan. He has mother's green eyes and brown hair. Conceived when
Brand raped Ariana, he was stolen before he was born by Jack o' the Willows and sold to Hector Eireg in Chaos, who hoped to use the
power present in the child of such an inbred union to House Eireg's own purposes. Much to their dismay,
Grayson proved to have taken far too much after his mother to be of any
real use to them, although they spent the 60 years until Ariana rescued
him from them trying. Since less than a week passed in Amber while he was
lost, Ariana is barely more than a decade older than him, a fact which
hasn't stopped her from trying to be as much his mother as he will
allow.
Haris Barimen: Marquis of Amber, 34-year-old son of Foster and Laughter, older brother of Iseult and Elspeth, older half brother of Paxon and Isaac. Because Laughter was pregnant with Haris when the Jewel of Judgment was shattered, he is expected to have a special affinity for the Pattern. As with the children who were conceived due to the destruction or reformation of the Jewel, he has unusually pale blue eyes.
Hope: Daughter of Driscoll and Laura, older half sister of Eris, Paxon and Isaac, native of Lazarus, leader of the dragon-slayers.
Isaac Barimen: Marquis of Amber, 28-year-old son of Driscoll and Laughter, younger half brother of Hope, Eris, Haris and Iseult, younger brother of Paxon, older half brother of Elspeth. He was born in Bedlam on Tuesday, July 18, 2994, Amber time.
Isabeux Barimen: Princess of Amber, 71-year-old daughter of Peter and Agatha, older sister of Jacob, Helena and Hubert, married to Gérard, mother of Felix, Vivienne and Gideon, grandmother of Foster, Crispin and Donal, great-grandmother of Haris, Iseult and Elspeth, formerly of House Loretto.
Iseult Barimen: Marchioness of Amber, 33-year-old daughter of Foster and Laughter, younger sister of Haris, older half sister of Paxon and Isaac, older sister of Elspeth, she is a member of the King's guard.
Jackie: Daughter of Caine, half sister of Usires and Lethe, married to Ruepert Jenogen, native of the Discworld.
Jasmine Barimen: Princess of Amber, married to Alex. A sorceress from House Borge, she is known for her study of vampires. She is about 5'6" tall, with straight jet-black hair that hangs to her waist, large, gray eyes, and olive skin. She's very graceful, and moves like a dancer.
Jasper: Ten-year-old son of Grayson and Jolie, half brother of Adrian, Nigel and Tristan. He has frosty blue eyes and light brown hair and is the most lively and energetic of Grayson's sons.
Jessica Rave: 11-year-old daughter of Gavin and an unnamed demon, she was rejected by her mother shortly after birth for being too human to survive amongst other demons. She has blond hair and blue eyes, and is helpful, inquisitive and blunt, often to the point of being gruff. One of the strongest children by a long shot, she tends to show off a lot, and the only authority she recognizes is that of her father. She has a bit of a hedonistic streak in her, doubtless inherited from her mother.
Jewel Barimen: 11-year-old daughter of Julian and Flavia, younger half sister of Shard.
Kimdyl Barimen
(deceased): Queen of Amber, daughter of
Swayvill and Arabeth, half sister of Murine and
Zane, widow of
Ahab, mother of Nicholas and Nimue, grandmother of Corbin,
formerly of House Vetch. She was
assassinated by Vixen, under Brand's orders, shortly after Ahab's
death.
Lethe Helgram: Five-year-old daughter of Caine and Alexandra, younger half sister of Usires, Jackie, Arawn and Pwyll, she has dark hair and blue eyes. The fact that Caine is her father is not known to anyone outside of her parents.
Lillian Barimen: 11-year-old daughter of Bill Roth and Flora.
Llewellan Jesby: 11-year-old son of Barnabas and Llewella, younger half brother of Bartholomew and Constance, twin brother of Brinnan.
Lyss Barimen: Marchioness of Amber, daughter of Abe and Ariadne, younger half sister of Dara, engaged to Bartholomew, mother of Darby, Barton and Darwin. She is 6' tall, with long, black hair and bright green eyes.
Madeleine Hendrake (née
Dunston): Princess of Amber, married to
Ishmael, mother of Duncan,
Daffyd, Clare and Reese,
guardian of Justina and Virgil William, former guardian of Harold Chantris; Lucia, Leonora, Lily and Kees Solon; Bride Tullia; and Summer Vetch, former math tutor of Jalana,
Morgan, Shannon and Vincent Vetch. She is tall with red hair
and a no fuss, no muss personality. A country girl who was orphaned at a
young age, she was taken in by an uncle who beat her repeatedly until she
finally killed him with the help of
Caerdis, an Unseelie faerie.
Caerdis swore her to secrecy about his involvement, and his motive for
helping her remains a mystery. After her uncle's death, Maddy managed to
put herself through University in Begma on the meager inheritance left her
by her father. Years later, while in a feverish state, she accidentally
revealed Caerdis' involvement in her uncle's death to Ishmael. Because
she broke her promise, she was held by an Unseelie faerie queen until
Ishmael repaid the debt by fathering a child with the woman. Despite the
tragedy in Maddy's life, she seems to have a very good head on her
shoulders and truly loves what she does.
Magdalyn Barimen: Princess of Amber, younger sister of Luther, Gunnor and Lor, older sister of Victor, married to Benedict, mother of Bastion and Elliot, formerly of House Hendrake. She is very tall and very thin, with brown eyes and dark brown hair, which she usually wears braided. When worn this way, her hair falls to the middle of her back.
Meander Barimen (also known as Cadfan): Prince of Amber, blind son of Corwin, half brother of Ahab, Arthur and Merlin, native of the Discworld. Meander occasionally has visions of the future, although the details are not always clear. He is able to see through the eyes of his familiar, a crow named Abel.
Miranda: Daughter of Benedict and Lintra, fraternal twin sister of Ariadne, older half sister of Bastion and Elliot. Originally a jeweler in Amber, with a reputation for being one of the best, if not the best, at her craft, she instructed Ahab in her art, for a time. She was taken from Amber, along with Usires' ax, Kvalnir, as part of a plot of Dara's. Although Kvalnir was eventually recovered, Miranda's whereabouts were unknown until it was determined that she was being held by Brand, because of her ability to create Takaran weapons, and because she made great bait. She eventually was brought to Chaos, where she worked for Zane until Nicholas invaded, at which point she turned on Zane. She was Ishmael's instructor in the art of making Takaran weapons.
Nicholas Barimen (deceased): Former emperor of Amber
and Chaos, son of Ahab and
Kimdyl, older brother of Nimue, engaged to Beauty before her death, father of Corbin. Nicholas had bright blue eyes and his
father's straight black hair. As a child, he was the quietest of his
playmates, and by far the most devious, attempting to have his way in all
things. Those quiet and devious traits remained as he grew older, but
became better focused. He was among those who were trapped on the other
side of the rift that separated Amber from Chaos after Ygg's destruction,
and passed 100 years there before being rescued. He was one of the select
few who knew how to create Takaran
metal, and one of the very few whose bloodline allowed him to use the Orb, before its destruction. Once the Orb
was destroyed, Nicholas realized that was what Ahab's death curse had been
pushing him to do all along, not unite Amber and Chaos as he had believed.
By fighting Zane in order to unite the two realms, he brought the Serpent
and Unicorn's eyes together, causing them to form the Orb and leaving Faerie only one object to destroy instead of four.
Unable to deal with the fact that he had been used in such a fashion, he
went mad, focusing on Finndo as the
source of his pain, because Finndo had taken the Orb from him. In his
madness, he killed his only child, to ensure that Corbin would never be
controlled the way he had been, and so that no one could use Corbin
against him. He then declared war on the Unseelie Court, exiling all
those with faerie blood and making the use of faerie magic illegal in
Amber and its environs. When much of the family refused to support him in
his war, he challenged Finndo to a duel in the Grove of the Unicorn to
settle things between them, once and for all. He lost, which drove him
even more insane than before. He was locked away in Shadow for treatment,
but when it became obvious that his madness could not be cured, Caine secretly killed him. Most of the
family still believes he is merely imprisoned. 
Nigel: Ten-year-old son of Grayson and Nicole, half brother of Adrian, Jasper and Tristan, he has his father's green eyes and red-brown hair. He has a rather merciful nature for such a young age, something he may have inherited from his grandmother.
Nimue Barimen (deceased): Avatar of the Pattern, Princess of
Amber, daughter of Ahab and Kimdyl, younger sister of
Nicholas. Nimue was one of the children who was conceived due to the
energy released when the Jewel of Judgment was reformed, and had a special
affinity for the Pattern as a result. Like all of the children conceived
due to the destruction or reformation of the Jewel, she had unusually pale
blue eyes, and she was the first of these children to walk the Pattern.
She was believed to have died due to a curse
Brand had placed on her by Queen
Morgan of the Unseelie Court, but
in reality only her body was destroyed. Her spirit became the next Avatar
of the Pattern, as a replacement for the late Unicorn, and it was she who
stripped Brand's Pattern from him and made it impossible for him to ever
walk it again. She died when the Orb
was destroyed, since its destruction brought about a reduction in the
Pattern's power, leaving the Pattern unable to sustain her.
Oscar Barimen: 11-year-old son of Bleys and Viktoria.
Paxon Barimen: Marquis of Amber, 31-year-old albino son of Driscoll and Laughter, younger half brother of Hope, Eris, Haris and Iseult, older brother of Isaac, older half brother of Elspeth.
Pwyll o' the Willows: Ten-year-old son of Jack o' the Willows and Alexandra, twin brother of Arawn, older half brother of Lethe, he has baby blue eyes and his mother's silver hair. Impulsive and a bit of a showoff, especially where his musical talent is concerned, he is surprisingly silent in other matters. Due to the efforts of Alexandra to shapeshift the faerie blood out of her child while she was pregnant, two children were created instead, one with faerie blood and one without. Pwyll is the human twin.
Reese Hendrake: Six-year-old son of Ishmael and Maddy, younger brother of Duncan, Daffyd, and Clare, older half brother of Finn, he has green eyes and black hair. He was born in Amber on Friday, August 25, 5 NR.
Rénard: 12-year-old son of Eric and Vixen, younger half brother of Ronan, older half brother of Sebastian and Prospero.
Roderick (deceased): A bastard son of Osric that
Lucien killed over a thousand years ago, he took Lucien killing him a
bit personally and now haunts him, appearing from time to time and making
snide comments that no one but Lucien can hear. Lucien no longer
remembers who ordered the assassination, or why.
Tamaryn Barimen: Duchess of Amber, only daughter of Lucien and Loryn, older half sister of Sive, Lene, Tove, Adrie, Anikke, Lucija, Lia, Logan, Lorens, Anne-Marie, Jalana, Morgan, Shannon, Vincent, Ana, Briana, Bryan and Dorian, married to Felix, mother of Foster, Crispin and Donal, grandmother of Haris, Iseult and Elspeth, guardian of Rose Loretto, former guardian of Christopher, Clare, Philipe Loretto, eldest of Lucien's children, formerly of House Vetch.
Teresa Barimen (also known as Mary): Princess of Amber, daughter of Delwin and Lucretia, twin sister of Alex, former lover of Heather, former ally of Sand. She once possessed a Spikard but lost it to the faeries, along with the hand that wore it, and replaced it for a time with the one belonging to Alex. She was among those who were trapped on the other side of the rift that separates Amber from Chaos, and passed 100 years there before being rescued. A few years after her return, she gave Alex his Spikard back. Alex is still trying to figure out why.
Tristan: Ten-year-old son of Grayson and Winifred, half brother of Adrian, Jasper and Nigel, he has light brown hair and his mother's frosty blue eyes. Casual for the most part, he can be surprisingly competitive and passionate when he sets his mind to it.
Vaughn Barimen: 16-year-old son of Random and Vialle, younger half brother of Driscoll and Martin. Vaughn is a good blend between Random and Vialle. He has his mother's wisdom, sensitivity and gentleness, and his father's propensity for showing off. He was born in Bedlam on Tuesday, July 18, 2994, Amber time.
Viktoria Barimen: Princess of Amber, Countess of Quinn in Chanicut, married to Bleys, mother of Oscar. She is 5'5" tall and appropriately built, with pale blue eyes and waist-length black hair, which she wears in a pony-tail. She outdoes Bleys in her flirtatiousness.
Vivienne Barimen: Duchess of Amber, 21-year-old daughter of Gérard and Isabeux, younger sister of Felix, older sister of Gideon. Vivienne has curly blonde hair and blue eyes. She was originally less bold than the rest of the children her age, always keeping either Gérard, Isabeux, Felix or Foster in sight at all times, and was the most forgiving of all of her playmates. But recently, she has shown signs of a rebellious streak, most notably when she walked the Pattern.
Abigail (also known as Abby): Mother of Adrian, she has dark blond hair and black eyes. A bit headstrong at times, she can be timid and introspective at others. Kicked out by her family while in her teens for being an unwed mother, she was taken in by Ariana, along with the other three mothers of Grayson's children.
Anne: Nanny for Ariana's children.
Arabeth: Servant assigned to Ariana when she resides in the castle.
Elaine: Whimsy's maidservant.
Emma: Rénard's nurse.
Herse, Manto, Tatia and Zena: Nicholas' personal guards, they are the last of the Hellmaids originally hired by Ariadne to protect Ahab and his family.
Jolie (also known as Julie): Mother of Jasper, she has red-gold hair and amber eyes. Somewhat impulsive and clumsy, she has a tendency to feel left out. Kicked out by her family while in her teens for being an unwed mother, she was taken in by Ariana, along with the other three mothers of Grayson's children.
Maris (deceased): Commoner who
favored reforming Amber's government and removing some of the power from
the nobility. She published several pamphlets promoting these ideals,
including concepts she gleaned from Ronan
and Gavin, most notably the idea of a
parliament. She was eventually arrested for treason by Nicholas, who imprisoned her for a time, until the
mass poisoning that took place at the ball celebrating the union of Amber
and Chaos. Although the poisoning was actually carried out by Irene Feldane, she was under Brand's programming at the time, and since
Nicholas did not want to reveal Brand's involvement, nor punish Irene for
something she had no control over, he chose to execute Maris instead,
Maris already being guilty of a treasonous crime. Maris was publicly

Marta: Dressmaker in Amber favored by several members of the royal family, including Ishmael and Whimsy.
Morgan: 36-year-old personal servant of Alexandra, Morgan is 5'6" tall and curvy, with black, wavy hair that falls to her mid-back, green eyes and fair skin. She was an employee of the Pearl when Vixen was using it as a brothel, and opted to stay on when Alexandra converted it to a women's shelter/gathering place. Her warm personality and gentle nature give her an almost maternal air. She hails from a high-tech Shadow.
Murine: Daughter of Arabeth, half sister of Kimdyl. She is a short woman, with long, black hair and green eyes. She originally claimed to be Foster's mother when he first arrived in Amber, but in reality she was there to spy on Amber for House Vetch. She was secretly poisoned by Caine, and, although she survived, she lost her shapeshifting ability and awoke with total amnesia. She currently resides in Amber as Vialle's assistant.
Nicole (also known as Nicky): Mother of Nigel, she has blond hair and violet eyes, a definite romantic streak, and tendency to show off. Disowned by her family while in her teens for being an unwed mother, she was taken in by Ariana, along with the other three mothers of Grayson's children.
Pari (deceased): Mysterious priest of the
Unicorn, he seemed harmless at first glance, but there were those who
suspected there was more to him. Respected even by Oberon, present in Amber for as long as
anyone could remember, it was revealed after the Unicorn's death that he
was the Unicorn herself.
Winifred (also known as Winnie): Mother of Tristan, she has silver hair and frosty blue eyes. Normally quite domestic, she occasionally exhibits a bold and rebellious streak. Kicked out by her family while in her teens for being an unwed mother, she was taken in by Ariana, along with the other three mothers of Grayson's children.
RebmansDrumman: Former lover of Lyss, father of Darby, Rebman childhood friend of Bartholomew's.
Florian: Chaosite "master of form," son of Gavin and Elena, younger brother of Adam, older brother of Gabriel and Mordecai, former lover of Lucien, who was also his instructor in shapeshifting, occasional lover of Bartholomew, shapeshifting instructor of Bartholomew and Gavin. Florian is 5'11" tall and weighs about 180 lbs., with light brown hair and bright blue eyes. Formerly of House Helgram, he was exiled for refusing an arranged marriage and currently resides in Rebma, although his work at the hospital in Amber keeps him there a fair amount of the time. His symbol is a soaring falcon, and his colors are brown and silver.
Gant: Rebman sorcerer, lover of Llewella, Bartholomew's instructor in sorcery.
Lilith: Rebman child, formerly betrothed to Bartholomew.
