In preparation for "Take Your Child to School/Visit Your Child
in School" Day, the National African American Parent Involvement
Day Committee is calling upon all school boards and their members to
do the following:
- Support NAAPID annually on the second Monday in February.
- Declare a resolution in support of NAAPID -"Take Your Child
to School/Visit Your Child in School" Day.
- Encourage and support local administrators, teachers, and
support staff by assisting them in making this a positive
experience for parents and students.
- Allow time on the school board agenda for a follow-up report
on the NAAPID - "Take Your Child to School/Visit Your Child in
School" Day.
