The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research
"We believe without fail that our goal is within reach - but we can't get there without your support. Please join the fight today!"
We welcome your generosity!Almost all of what we hand out to new folks is donated items, sent to us either by individuals or by guilds who have taken an interest in what we do and think it's pretty neat. The Watch can't use every item that gets sent our way. Because we only deal with people who are truly new to World of Warcraft, or are starting a given server or faction with no means of support, we can really only use white or better items of level 7 and below. We also gratefull accept any scaps of linen cloth, silk cloth, and light or heavy leather you may have lying around; we transform these into caster armor and the 10-slot silk bags we hand out as a standard.
A good guideline of what to send is to think of something you might have wanted at level 5, if you'd know better, that would have made your life easier.
Donations can be sent to any agent of the Watch on the server you wish to contribute to; they'll be forwarded to a central clearinghouse for distribution. If you wish for your donation to be anonymous, please let us know; we're in the habit of thanking people publicly.
