| September Hello Parents and Guardians! I look forward to meeting all of you at our open house. This year, we will be using Powerschool to post your child's grades. This is an excellent resource that allows you to keep track of your child's current grades in all of his or her classes. We will be asking all of the students and parents to sign in and create a password so that you can have access as soon as possible. Parents, you can create your own, unique password separate from your child's so that you can login anytime you would like. Within the first week of school, I will be asking all of the students to purchase a Science Notebook ( 3-ring binder ). This is an integral part of the class. Students will be keeping track of all of the work they do. Since we only have classroom sets of textbooks, your child's science notebook will be a valuable resource. We will be start off the year with our first unit, Scientific Investigation and Metric Mania. Students will be bringing home the Lab Safety Contract . |
