Glacier Point is one of the most amazing viewpoints anywhere. Not only do you have Half Dome rising above it all in a dramatic scale that cannot be conveyed through pictures, but you can also look down on several amazing waterfalls and the entire valley. After skiing the 21 miles to Glacier Point this winter, Megan and I wanted to revisit this area to see how it looks in the summer.

It was hot in the valley but it's hard to complain when you can cool off in the cascades below a 600 foot waterfall.

The high country of Yosemite is probably not as well photographed but it is equally as beautiful as the valley. It is filled with waterfalls, streams, meadows, dramatic peaks, and canyon walls.
