"Criticism is the lowest form of flattery, yet often the most unsubtle of jealousy." Review THIS!

Added to our reviews for April is a review of William Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury.

We believe no book is beyond reproach or too worthy to receive a book review. The editors of Galápagos have decided to begin pilfering their own literary libraries and write reviews of books we have recently read. Since, like all wouldbe-intelligensia, we tend to read only things that we've been told are "classics" or "brilliant," many of the reviews here might be on pretty famous or influential works. Big deal. All the better. If we like it, we'll tell you. If it falls short of what we expected, we'll tell you that, too. Nobody is paying our bills except us, so expect no kowtowing.

Unlike other sections of Galápagos, the reviews will not change each month. Old reviews will be kept on-line. New ones will be added each month (and occasionally during the month).
