Galapagos Magazine was first published on February 1, 1997. The magazine is based on a University of Michigan server, but it is open and intended for the general public. In particular, Galapagos seeks to provide a literary magazine with solid content and good-natured snobbiness—hey, isn't that what literature is all about?

Individuals who lack a sense of humor, a sense of what is interesting, or the time to pause and click are advised to explore these islands no further—as for the rest of you, welcome home. If you have any questions about the editors, the site, the future of the human race, or poetic versification, feel free to drop us a line.
