    introduction

Hello hello hello! Welcome to to the periphery, my little nook on the net. (Why 'the periphery'? Click here!) I'm guessing you're a little curious about me and this collection of pages, so I'll try to oblige without boring you stiff. I sincerely apologize if I do anyway. :-)

I'm originally from outside of Detroit (with short stops in Rochester, NY and Tokyo, Japan). I spent a while in Ann Arbor having fun and doing this, that and the other thing in leafy Ann Arbor. I am now in St. Louis learning more stuff and playing with kids, and as of July 2010 I'll be in Baltimore/Washington DC learning even more stuff and still playing with kids. :-)

My Dad and Mom live near a quiet town in the middle of Michigan and my brother Eugene is in Chicago keeping busy. I am also fortunate to been friends with many wonderful people over the years.

These pages have been growing slowly over the last five years; over that time a lot of very kind people took a lot of time to teach me this html and graphics stuff, and so I try to repay their kindness by volunteering on various web pages. the periphery collects those various projects I used to work on or am now working on, as well as having some pages that have a bit more about me.

I unfortunately don't really have much free time to tool about with the pages, so things tend to accumulate rather than update [which explains why the periphery is so big --five years is a lot of time to accumulate stuff! :-) ] so occasionally the tense will be wrong or the link will be broken --e-mail me and I'll try my best to patch it. I hope you enjoy your stay, and welcome!

      Sincerely yours,

        -Jeff
