Periphery's Light Web Design
Credit where it's due
Giving all the people who helped me do this web stuff their rightful due

Periphery's Light is -not- a company in the sense that I am not interested in designing web pages on a commercial basis. I am humbled and grateful to have the chance to volunteer as the co-webperson for several of the organizations and causes I help with, and that is enough for me. (Anyway, the whole rest of my life; family, friends, research, med school, and occasionally, sleep, :-) keep me busy enough!)

What Periphery's Light is is a way of giving credit to the people who truly deserve it. Over the years, many kind people have take the time to help me learn html and graphics, and the web pages I help work with are an attempt to repay their efforts and use it to help others. Periphery's Light is another way for me to give thanks and credit to the people whose generosity of time and patience made everything I have done possible. Without further ado, sincere thanks go out to

To Andy Wilson (left) and Dan Schmidt (right) for taking the time to teach me html and web page design way back when.

To Eugene Huo '96 (left) and Hong Phuc Pham (right) for taking the time to teach me how to make the graphics seen throughout these pages. Yes, Photoshop is good. Good is Photoshop....

To all my former and current colleagues in web page design; Joshua Uy (top, left) with the CMDS Homepage, Mike Sun (top, right), Harold Hong, and Grace Kim with the HMCC Home Page, Wei Shin Lai (middle, left) and Swapna Abhyankar (yet unpictured) with the MMDC page, Tina Pinto(middle, right) with the AMA-MSS at UM Homepage, Fred Wu (bottom, left) and Joel Ying (bottom, right) on the Medical Student Council Homepage.
For the ASIJ Class of 1994 Homepage in particuar, sincere thanks go to Margaret MacCallum,, our tireless class correspondent, for doing all the real work on the ASIJ Class of 94 Homepage; and to Matt Peterson '95 for providing the model and information on how to do guestbooks and bulletin boards at umich.edu.

Also, not least of all, to The ASIJ Class of 1994 as a whole for all of your encouragement, help, and friendship. Anyone who thinks our class is apathetic should consider that in the first week we had 150+ hits to that page!

Last but not least, To Mom and Dad for everything that you have helped me do over all these years. (I'd thank my brother, too, but I already did. :-)

And to the Lord God, who makes all things possible.

Sincerely yours,
