Draft: a touchtone telephone call-flow

Read it aloud!

(Or better, have an assistant read it aloud while you don't look at the screen.)

Etc., etc.

(A short section of topical information,

carefully crafted for spoken intelligibility, 30 seconds or less!)

(pause)

To continue, press 1.

To hear that part of it again, press 3.

Or, to go get something else, you can press 9.

(pause)

To hear the next part of this, press 1.

To hear that same part again, press 3.

Or, to go get something else, you can press 9.

(pause)

(After a timeout here where the caller does nothing, assume the caller is no longer listening.

Go to the polite End-Call exit.)

Keypress 1 is the normal continuation; keypress 9 is "Reject" or No;

and 3 is chosen as Repeat because it's far away from both the 1 and 9 buttons.

At the end of the last section of information about a topic,

the prompts are changed to say so instead of offering a "next" section.

Keypress 1 continues back to restart the list of choices the caller heard on the way into here.

Press any numeric key to Restart this demo....

[Restart] [Bradley Lehman Resume] Part of this example will also be drafted as a speech recognition interface, for comparison.
