A good comparison of similar lighting, same time of day,
but the difference between the look of film (at the top of the page)
and the look of digital. There is a harder edge to digital as well as
a different color depth.



Super 8mm film scanned at 2400 dpi and scaled 400% to a 3000 pixel width.



The resolvable detail of Super 8mm film is limited by the small 1/4 inch width.
