Still photography animation is rarely explored in motion pictures
because the genres of cinematic expression are rigidly determined
by the high cost of producing motion pictures. Perhaps the advent of
desktop computing devices, their decreasing cost and increasing power
will change the way that motion pictures can be made and distributed.

Still photography and motion picture photography has a great capacity to coexist.
