Four Dragon Island
Volume Seven
The Dragon Gets Drunk

Summary by Amparo Bertram

Max repeatedly teases Fei that his ear must be lonely without its jade decoration, and it doesn't help Fei's mood that it's true. Two bottles of poisoned drink delivered to Fei and the White Dragon from the Blue Dragon's city lead them to investigate Qianglong's alcohol district, where a gang of ruffians has been causing trouble. The wood stolen from Shulingfan has been diverted to the Blue Dragon, who has it earmarked for expanding Qianglong's famous alcohol business rather than shipbuilding.

After Max helps liberate one of the Howaluu who had accidentally been captured along with the ruffians, Fei believes the matter is settled and prepares to return home. However, he underestimates the White Dragon's desire to confront his enemy. He is forced to chase after Max, who slips away to pay the Blue Dragon an unannounced visit.
