Experience |
|
- January 2008 – Present: Graduate Student Research Assistant (GSRA), Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS), University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. I have been working in Prof. Duncan Steel’s Quantum Optoelectronics Lab and have been involved in nonlinear optical spectroscopy experiments of various nanostructures like III-IV semiconductor quantum dots and carbon nanotubes.
- July 2007 – August 2007: Internship at Kritikal Solutions, a spin-off from the Computer Science department of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. I was responsible for conducting a feasibility study and simulation for a system that transmits graphical and voice data over an analog phone line.
- June 2006 – August 2006: Internship at Nsys Inc. I was involved with developing a verification suit in Verilog for the SPI-4 network protocol that is used in OC-192 optical communication schemes.
- August 2005 – May 2007: Worked on digital system and embedded system design and development at the Center for Electronic Design and Technology (CEDT), University of Delhi, India. I maintain videos, pictures and brief descriptions of projects I worked on during this period on my website.
- June 2005 – August 2005: Internship at the Digital Hardware Design Lab at the Computer Science Department of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India where I worked on a project titled ‘Door Messaging System’.
