	I had stayed up late - until 1am. It was a warm sunday night at the end of February, 2011 and it was raining. Lots of snow and ice - and water too.
	Water alarm beeps Basement floor drain doesn't work Rain pouring outside Wet-vac will rescue! From hole in wall flows a stream Panicked search for vac Twenty five gallons ten gallon wet-vac lifts up Short time to find cause Downspout flex-pipe down Ice and water has combined Jam pipe back on spout Floor is damp not dry No spot for alarm to place must check each half hour Stream now a trickle Wet-vac a-waits on the floor Wet laundry in wash
