Abigail Leinsdorf

Abigail comes from a family that runs a working ranch in Colorado, took Env 256 in 2008. She is registered for Hardin’s undergrad Environmental Anthropology seminar for the coming year. She is using the environmental anthropology curriculum to think through many of the challenges and tensions in her family’s way of life, given the increasing pressures on their land from public management for recreational use, and private real estate development. I'm now writing my senior thesis on small agriculture, land use, and identity.
