Chiyako is Yuu's mother. She is very kind to Miki and even tries to get Miki involved with the family. She is very soft spoken but can be just as nuts as the other parents. She brings Miki some cosmetics from her company (she is a lab technician for a cosmetics company) and to her, Miki is the daughter that she never had. She is thought to have had a relationship with Miwa's father, Yoshimitsu. Chiyako divorces Youji and marries Jin.
