Worked in several Information Extraction projects including supervised / semi-supervised relation and event extraction from unstructured text, relation extraction from biomedical data, semantic word clustering, named entity translation, extracting parallel documents from comparable corpora, spelling checking and correction, and others. We worked closely with the IKM group at the IBM Watson research center in several projects. Some of these projects participated in several NIST Automatic Content Extraction (ACE) evaluations.
