As for this particular thread necromancy, I was looking around for teasers of Abyssal personalities at the approximate same power as Duke or 7th circle ministry general. And came across a couple things I liked, but havn't found what I was looking for.

Maybe I can help. I've been pursuing some research and creation of entities around that power for 'Nightmares' recently. Provide a few more details and I'd be happy to make suggestions, if you'd have any desire for them.

Glyphimhor - A balor, Orcus' most powerful minion after Harthoon. Rules Lachrymosa and is secretly attempting to become an independent demon lord.

Belcheresk - Also a balor, Demogorgon's most powerful minion after Arendagrost and Daegoros. IIRC he rules Lemoriax, Demogorgon's capital city, in his stead.

Severik - Another balor, around Belcheresk's level of power. Leads the Ungorthiax, Demogorgon's cadre of marilith bodyguards.

The Dooms of Flame - Eight powerful balors around the level of the Dark Ministers that operate independently of any one demon prince. Some help perpetuate the Blood War, others corrupt mortals, others pursue their own agendas. Only named ones I can remember are Wendonai, Daegoros and Errtu. Wendonai is responsible for corrupting countless drow into evil and used to be associated with Lolth, though has since made an enemy of her and moved on. About as powerful as Furcas, and the most powerful of the eight after Daegoros. Errtu is an enemy of Drizzt.

Baltazo - One of Fraz-Urb'Luu's most prominent minions. A minor demon lord who used to fight in the Blood War and now guards his iron fortress on Pazunia.

Some of the demon lords here also fit.

Man, forget all this balor nonsense. Mariliths are where it is at. Horrors best recognize!
