Our laboratory is situated in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology of the University of Michigan Medical School. We are located on the second floor of the new BSRB building.

Work in the lab is focused on organogenesis of the gastrointestinal tract. We are attempting to learn how this simple tube that is generated in the embryo is regionally patterned to become esophagus, stomach, small intestine and large intestine.
