Welcome to Yuri's home page!

First, let me tell you a bit about myself, just to make sure you are on the right page.  I was born in Bryansk, Russia, in 1974, and lived there until 1990 (high school graduation).  Then I spent 7 years (1990-1997) in Moscow, Russia, where I earned my undergraduate degree (summa cum laude) from the Department of Physics of Moscow State University.  After that I resided for another 6 years (1997-2003) in Chicago, IL, USA, where I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Physics of the University of Chicago.  Finally, during the first 5 years after my Ph.D., I worked at three different postdoctoral research positions in three different American universities and lived in three different states:  two years at the Department of Physics of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI (2003-2005), two years at the Materials Research Laboratory of the University of California in Santa Barbara, CA (2005-2007), and a year at the Department of Physics of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH (2007-2008).  Currently, I am a physics lecturer at the Department of Physics of the University of Michigan and again reside in Ann Arbor, MI, USA.  I will not bother you any more about further details of my life, if you are really interested in knowing more about me, check out my CV or feel free to contact me.

Now, a list of links to some my pages follows, and, frankly, this was the purpose of this page.  Note that this is not a list of my bookmarks, but rather a list of pages created by myself.
