Feedback Request

Dear feedback provider,

Thanks so much for helping me by providing feedback on my work here. It’s definitely a work in progress! I’m looking mostly for feedback about the content of the site, but I’d be happy to hear what you think of the design and layout as well. They will probably change a bit, but maybe not too much, as I go on.

Items I would like to obtain specific feedback on are the following.

  1. Are my reflections too long? Do they get wordy or confusing? How could I tighten them up, if necessary? What do you think about splitting some of them into smaller “chunks” and re-titling them?
  2. What kind of words come to mind about my personality when you read my reflections (good ones and bad ones, if there are any, please! I need to know if I am putting out a decent picture of myself…)? Do they seem authentic?
  3. I know some of my graphics need to be resized and manipulated. But do any seem ugly or superfluous?
  4. I have tried to provide copious links to other sites for a few of my reflections. What do you think of that practice? I think it’s interesting, but I’m a bit afraid others may find it pedantic.
  5. I’m considering some extra sections of the site, such as “interesting links” or “interesting books about engineering.” Would this be intrusive?
  6. What kind of impression does this site leave you with, overall?

Thanks again. If I missed any topics you care to comment on or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate in the slightest. I promise, you won’t hurt my feelings, so I’d appreciate it if you would be really mean.

Sean
