Olivia Walch

Olivia Walch is a Mathematics PhD student at the University of Michigan. As part of her research in the mathematics of circadian rhythms, Olivia developed the IPhone/Android application "Entrain", a service which provides lighting schedules to help weary travelers overcome jetlag. When Olivia is not hacking or mathing, she draws the award winning webcomic Imogen Quest.

Matt Jacobs

Matt Jacobs is a Mathematics PhD student at the University of Michigan with a focus on image processing. Matt's extensive knowledge on image segmentation provided the team with a strong backbone for the project right away. Matt and Olivia have a proven track record at Hackathons, taking first place at MHacks 6 and HackNTU. Their hack from MHacks 5, "Sketch Anything" is now available to the public on the Apple App Store.

David Renardy

David Renardy is a Mathematics PhD Student at the University of Michigan. While his research in hyperbolic geometry rarely enters the computational world, David enjoys learning and hacking on new technologies. David joined Olivia and Matt at MHacks 6, where they, with teammate Sam Oliver, won the Wolfram Prize for their 3D printed furniture hack "Fusion Furniture".
