Maususer's Battle of Britain Mods
(BoBII:WOV Aircraft page 2)

Below and right, I have some screenshots of a skin showing an early camouflage scheme.  However, it would likely not have flown in the Battle of Britain, as the camouflage schemes changed from one of ground concealment to air superiority identification in 1939 and into 1940.  Nonetheless, it is a nice variation.

And below, a BF 109E-4, Channel Front, , “Red 3” of II./ JG 3, summer 1940 (unfortunately incorrect due to the full yellow tail, so I'll leave the screenie but remove the DL link).  See below for "Black 8" corrected skin.

link to LW numbers.

A new skin, that of a Bf 109E-3, Feldwebel Walter Shultz of 3./JG 53, Spetember 1940.

Below, a Bf 109E-4,  “Black 8” of Second staffeln I./ JG 3.

Below we have a skin of 9./JG2, Lt. Rudolph Rothenfelder.

Below is a skin from 6./JG54 flown by Oblt. Joachim Schypek.

And a darker version of the same skin...not sure which I like better (if either).

Bf 109E-4 of II/JG3, flown by Oblt. Franz Von Werra.  It force landed on 9/5/40 in Kent.

The below skin is of Feldwebel Heinz Bar of 1./JG 51.

The below skin represents the Bf109E-1, “Black Chevron”, flown by Oblt. Josef Priller, Gruppen_Adjutant I./JG 51, September 1939.  The reference plate for this came from Osprey Aircraft of the Aces, Bf 109D/E Aces, 1939-1941.

Below is another mapping issue with the Bf 109, note the hakenkreus alignment.

Below is a Bf 109E-3 skin of "Yellow 11", I./JG27 July 1940.

And Below, Technical Officer for III.'JG51.  One of few color photos I could reference that showed more than one plane of a flight with similar markings.

Below is a Bf 109E-3 of 3./JG53 flown by Oblt. Walter Rupp.

And a darker version which I prefer below.

Below is another "crosshatch" scheme of 9./JG52, which was briefly involved in the Battle of Britain.

Below is a heavily stippled mottle of Gruppenkomodore Major Harry von Bulow-Bothkamp.

The below skin is from 2nd staffel I/JG 27, flown by Andreas Walburger.
