WKKF puts out an RFP to all KFHET Participants to solicit specific project initiatives for phase II funding of the initiative. |

12 Nov 1999 | Charles White at Portland State sends an Email to Arthur Chickering indicating that his institution will be submitting an application to participate in the CEC. |
5-6 Dec 1999 | KFHET Meeting in Washington, DC - All members present, but KNIT and LIG held separate meetings prior to coming together. |
8 Dec 1999 | Final Draft of the CEC RFP is passed around to Advisory Board for final edits aiming for delivery to potential institutions on 20 Dec 1999 |
17 Dec 1999 | Director position is offered to Barbara Holland |
27 - 29 Jan 2000 | KFHET Meeting - Tucson, AZ - Liesa Stamm and Joe Harmon introduced as the new Director and administrative assistant for the CEC. |
Winter 2000 | CEC RFP Finalized and sent to approximately 120 institutions from the Kellogg Foundation list of potential participants |
