RLW 1289 - Much like the Earth we know and love today. With one exception, it rotates the other direction. Katrina's home shadow is very advanced. The year there is 2460 A.D. Ruled under one world government, it has become a peaceful place. There is no more war, and famine is unthinkable with seven Crillian colonies designed to produce food. It would seem an ideal place to live, with one exception, the on-going skirmishes with both the Trendarans and space pirates. The Trendarans are from RLW 1289 originally. They, led by their leader, Darin Trendar, left in 2231. With Approximately 1 billion people, they made up one of the largest mass exoduses in RLW 1289's history. They settled on a new home world in the Selesian system known as "Brindish". They left over political beliefs. Trendar was the leader of an extremely vocal conservative political party. Unhappy with the way the planet and its colonies were being governed, they decided to leave and form their own world. They did a good job of it. However, they always felt jealous of their "Mother World". They believed it should not have been them to leave. Consequently, a war broke out. Katrina was in charge of the RLW 1289 Flagship "Intrepid".
The pirates in question were your average, ordinary, everyday, space pirates, wreaking havoc throughout the quadrant. Maximillian, Katrina's brother, was dealing with them on the other side of the quadrant, before he mysteriously disappeared. It was rumored that he may have gone over to the other side. But nothing is known for sure.
