Giggle
You must like to spank or be spanked, because your romance is remeniscent of Secretary. A truly modern love story, it shows that you don't need to be conventional to be normal. You're probably the type that owns a whole lot more leather than what's upholstering your car or sofa. Yeah, you know what I mean.

Season Seven - You're about looking at the world as a whole, looking at the grand design of things, the way good balances evil. You are Buffy philosophy, and your best episode is "Conversations with Dead People."

Tax Cuts
Well, I found a website where I could calculate my tax liability change from the Bush Tax Cut. I entered all of my information. I will save.... (Trumpet Music).... $50 give or take this year. My brother, who outearns me 3 to 1, will save more than $1,000. That should be a great example of the tax cut in action.

Dinner Dinner last night was fun. It was our last American Cancer Society coupon. Every year, Patrick and I buy the American Cancer Society Coupons for dining out. They get money to fight a deadly disease, we get half off dinner for 2 at some of the best restaurants in the area for 7-9 different evenings spread out over 7-9 months. (Depends on how many restuarants participate each year.) 2 years ago we got Kristen and Jack to participate, and this year we got Carla and James to participate as well. So, once a month, we all go out for a fabulous dinner. It is a good excuse to spend the evening out with friends. Last ngith was our last coupon for this year. Yotsuba. A japanese restaurant in Ann Arbor. The food was very good. The atmosphere was fun. (We even took our shoes off...) The company was excellent as always. All in all a very enjoyable evening.
Cabin We are getting ready to go to the cabin next weekend. I can't wait. I want a vacation! I must email the attendees and let them know some details....

Lots of Stuff
So, just a quick recap. Saturday was Matthew's POM game at the house. I can see it won't be as easy to host games we are not both in as it was in the new house. It is just not as convenient. We shall see. Once the basement is finished, it will get easier. We shall see. So, I ended up hanging out with friends. We shot pool, drank, got dinner, and ended up at Deja Vu. That was a fascinating experience. I had never been to a straight strip club. Overall, I think I was amused. Sunday was a vegging-out day. That was good. Monday, I made a homemade lasagna for the pookie, and we invited Matthew over, and ate lasagna and watched the first disc of Queer As Folk season 2. It was good.

Life Update
So, I realized that since the move into the new house this Blog has been fairly quiet. I think this has to do with a needed change in it's use. So, starting after the subsequent paragraph, there will be many fewer house related items/rants, and hopefully, more of what else happens in my life, though you can still expect house-related stuff now and then as things happen.
Tonight, Carla, James, Matthew, Patrick and I will be organizing the basement. We look forward to it being somewhat organized. So, that will be a good thing. On the deck, I have not been able to get the guy building it to return my calls. I am thinking about calling someone else. I think I shall give the guy I was planning on using just one more chance. The yard will be going in the last week of August. In other house news, I started putting up pictures on the walls last night. It is nice to not be staring at blank walls all of the time now! But we have only managed about 5 pictures so far. We got hit by lightning on Friday, that is the house was hit. We lost the cable modem, router, my ethernet card, and the garage door opener. At least that is what we have discovered so far. We shall continue to look for more damage.
