ePortfolio Advisory Committee (EPAC)
(2006 to present)

The Eportfolio Advisory Committee works closely with individual units, the CTools development team and the international Sakai Open Source Portfolio community to pilot ePortfolio tools into selected UM units to meet academic and educational priorities.

IT Commons Steward
(2001 to present)

Begun in 2001 as a team to roadmap the possibilities for increased collaboration among IT units across the highly decentralized UM IT environment. The original team has evolved into two teams of stewards who assist the Vice Provost of Academic Information in promoting common IT infrastructure, opportunities for shared capabilities and planning for future environments.

CTools Advisory Committee
(2004 to present)

CTools is the UM instantiation of the Sakai Collaboration and Learning Environment. The CTAC team coordinates development, production, support and personnel resources for CTools at the UM. CTools serves more than 80,000 campus users and hosts an average of 3,500 course sites per term.

UM Gateway Redesign Team

The UM Gateway page had been largely unchanged in architecture and navigation since it first major implementation in 1996. In 2001, two teams were created to provide input and manage the redesign, which took 14 months and cost just $5,000 in outside fees.
