I'm trying to find my half-sister Mary Esther Daves. I think she lives in California or a neighboring state or in Texas or a neighboring state.
Mary was born in Bexar County (the San Antonio area), Texas.
Mary's mother's maiden name was "Barbara Jarzombek".
Her dad (also my dad) was Max Elden Daves.
Age wise, Mary was born Aug. 27,1961.
Mary Esther Daves may be a part of the Alumni of the University of Texas.
If she is married, naturally her last name should be different.

Add
Bexar (pronounced "bear") County was created in 1836 from an 
Old Mexican Municipality. The County Seat is San Antonio, the 
Alamo City.

In November 2001 a person named Steve contacted me. Based on his information and my information, it looks like we are very closely related on my Mother's side of my family.
In January 2002 I met Steve and his family. Steve and his family seem like very nice people (people that I'm willing to say that I'm related to). They live near San Jose (near San Francisco), California.
Steve got a Bachelors degree from Stanford University and a Law degree from University of Michigan.

MESSAGE TO ALL DAVES FAMILY MEMBERS ---
Hi, All! Finally I have completed my book "Daves in America" and have made arrangements to get it printed. It came out at 626 pages. To help me decide how many copies to order I am asking that everyone interested order copies now. I have tried to keep the cost as low as possible and have decided to have it printed with a paper cover rather than have it hard bound as this is a major cost savings. The result is that I can furnish copies at $25 apiece including mailing which is a break-even cost to me.

So please help me by notifying people who might be interested and ask them to contact me with orders. I will hold off a month or so to order the printing to see what the response is. I expect to be able to begin filling orders soon after the holidays. I will need addresses for sending books and will appreciate receiving money as it will reduce my front-end expense.

I appreciate very much the help you have all given me and am also appreciative of your patience as the process has dragged on so very long. With best wishes, Doyle Daves
