Julie Boland's Psycholinguistics Laboratory is located in the Department
of Psychology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

facilities
and equipment for investigations of both written and spoken language. Much
of the current research uses
state-of-the-art technology to measure eye movements and collect reaction times
as research participants read, listen, or speak. We study how people use knowledge
about individual words and grammatical knowledge of a language to develop a
partial interpretation of each word and phrase.
