About Me:

Being born in Buffalo, New York, I grew up with some of the best (although others might call it the worst) weather imaginable. Lake effect snow, blizzards, and even rare tornadoes keep Buffalo interesting all year long. Specifically, "Lake Storm Aphid", or the "October Suprise" of 2006 fascinated me, as it dumped 2 feet of early-season Lake Effect Snow on a very localized region (that included my house). Therefore, with the study of atmospheric science in mind, I went to Cornell University for my undergraduate degree, graduating in 2012 with a BS in atmospheric science. I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Michigan, and earned my Master's Degree in the fall of 2013.

In my spare time, I love to play the guitar and sing, as well as play and watch almost any sport. Growing up in Buffalo, I am a proud Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan, at my own peril.
