Saturday, September 2 - Tuesday, September 5, 2994

• Lovely Shard-induced homoerotic dreams continue. By the end of the week, the dreams start with Laughter but end with Shard. EYAH!
• Continue to train with Laughter.
• Talk about Chaos with Laughter -- her interest is increasing. He continues to feed her interest. She seems to be leaning towards going to the war in Chaos.

Wednesday, September 6, 2994

• Ishmael and Laughter Trump in and encounter Shard. EYAH!
• Many, many, many people stare at Ishmael and Laughter as they enter the room. Neither of them understands why. Ishmael sums it up with, "We must look daaaaamn good."
• Husband #1 (Driscoll) spots the duo. Begins his approach. It's unpleasant, but not lethal or painful...
• Shard joins the group, laying his hand on Ishmael's shoulder. "Is there a problem, gentlemen?" EYAH!
• Ishmael brushes him off.
• He leads Driscoll away.
• Ishmael pegs both Whimsy and Ariana with a pea during dinner.
• Dance with Teresa -- she points out Ishmael's "vampire problem." EYAH!
• After discussing the matter, Ishmael learns that Shard has a big attachment to Ariana, and if he had a disagreement with her...
• Ishmael leaves the ball and pens a letter to Ariana. He cc's it to Nicholas.

Thursday, September 7, 2994

• Nicholas Trumps him about the Shard thing.
• They also discuss Ishmael walking the Pattern. Ishmael is granted a reprieve.
• Ariana Trumps. She and Ishmael "make nice."

Friday, September 8, 2994

• Laughter commits her armies to the fight in Chaos. (WAHOO!)

Saturday, September 9, 2994

• Ishmael overhears a big fight between Driscoll and Laughter. He listens for a while, then gets bored and leaves.
