Black Power in the United
States,
the Southern Christian
Leadership Conference (SCLC), and the Student Nonviolent
Coordinating Committee (SNCC). Our course

After our visit to Labadie, a few people asked what Phyllis
Schlafly and her Eagle Forum are up to now. (Schlafly, as you will find
out in the coming weeks, was a leader in the anti-ERA campaign.) She and
the Eagle Forum are still active, and their website is updated daily. The
URL is http://www.eagleforum.org.
Also,
the URL for NOW (the National Organization for Women) is http://www.now.org and the URL for the
Feminist
Majority Foundation is http://www.feminist.org.
