Say Hello in Sign Language

"Sign Language" is a combination of the signs for each word. "Sign" is indicated by pointing the index fingers innward and circling them around each other. "Language" is signed by forming the letter "L" with each hand at the center of the body, and moving each hand outward.


English: Hello My name is
Sign Language: "Hello" is signed by maving the hand from the forehead in an outward and down motion, similar to a salute. "My" is signed by moving the hand toward the chest. "Name" is signed by using the first and second fingers of each hand to form an X in front of the body. This motion is repeated once.
