1634/5 "Bound for New England Waymouth ye 20th of March 1635. 1 Joseph H[u]ll of Somersst a Minist aged 40 yeare … 46 George Allin aged 24 yeare, 47 Katherin Allyn his wife aged 30 yeare, 48 George Allyn his sonne aged 16 yeare, 49 Willm Allyn his sonne aged 8 yeare, Mathew Allyn his sonne aged 6 yeare, Edward Poole his srvant aged 26 yeare." George Allen, "[Lived at ]Lynn [in] 1636, rem[oved]. next yr. to Sandwich, was rep. 1641 and 2 at Plymouth. He was bur[ied]. 2 May 1648 ; and his will, witness, by Rev. William Leveridge, and others, ment[ioned]. s[ons]. Matthew, Henry, Samuel, and William, beside 'five least ch.' not nam[ed]. and made w[ife]. Catharine Extrix. His ho[me]. built, 1646, it is said, is in good repair, and still occup[ied]." [2]

George Allen, Came in 1635 with wife Catharine, sons George, William and Matthew, and servant Edward Poole, and settled at Weymouth, Mass. In 1637 was a first settler in Sandwich; Constable there 1639. He served as Deputy to the Plymouth Gen. Court, 1640-1644. He was bur. 2 May 1648. His will named sons Matthew, William, Samuel and Henry. and "my five least children" without naming them. Probably he had two sets of children; Catharine, his second wife. m. (2) John Collins, Sr., of Boston. Two of his sons, Henry and Gideon, settled in Milford, Conn. [3]

"George Allen came in Rev. Joseph Hull's Company, sailing from Weymouth, Eng., on or near 20 Mar. 1634-35. In the shipping list the family is described as follows: 'George Allin, aged 54 yeare, Katherin Allyn his Wife aged 30 yeare, George Allyn his sonne aged 16 yeare, William Allyn his sonne aged 8 yeare and Mathew Allyn his sonne aged 6 yeare.'
