These notes are grouped to refer to Alexander Rickey, who owned about 83 acres and died 1783 with aunt Ann Kirkbride and sisters Elizabeth and Ann.

1770 Alexander Rickey, possibly this one, and Hester Coates were married on September 8. [3] [4] [5]

1781 Alexander Richey was taxed for 82 acres, 2 horses, and 2 cattle in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [6]

1782 Alexander Richey was taxed for 83 acres and 1 cattle in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

1783 The will of Alexander Rickey of Philadelphia was dated November 20, 1783 and was proved on April 10, 1784. Aunt Ann Kirkbride and uncle John Darbyshire were named executors. Sisters Elizabeth Vennal (second husband or transcription error of Nicholls?) and Ann Rickey, Wit: William Smith, John Carter, Jr. [7] [8] [9] [10]

1783 An estate sale was announced on March 29, 1783, for the estate of Alexander Rickey of Lower Makefield, Bucks County, by executors William, Thomas, and Alexander Rickey in the New Jersey Gazette. [Photocopy] Notice of estate vendu for Alexander Rickey, 1783.

1783 William Rickey, Thomas Rickey, and Alex. Rickey, executors to Alexander Rickey, adv. for sale 83 and a half acres in Lower Makefield, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, about a mile from Thomas Yardley's ferry and grist mill, and adjoining land of Henry Hough and Joseph Watson. [11]
