Research Notes:

The History of Parliament entry for Walter Lee states that he was the son and heir of Sir John Lee (d. 1370) of Albury [in Surrey], steward of the household of Edward III, by his wife Joan, that he married Margaret by July 1373 and died without issue in 1395. He was a member of parliament in eleven sessions from 1377 to 1390 and from Essex in 1391, 1393, and 1394. [1]

1395 Walter Lee, with his brother-in-law, Robert Newport, offered sureties of 200 marks to the duke of Gloucester after the escape from Hertford castle of a prisoner who owed the duke of Gloucester 400 marks.
