There is another potential set of records for Sanders Allen, son of Charles Benson Allen and May Cockrum:

1854 Sanders Allen and Mary J Fitzgerrell were married on September 29 in Jefferson County, Illinois. [2]

1860 S D Allen (age 26, born in Illinois) lived in Beaver Dam, Butler County, Missouri, in a household with Mary J Allen (age 23), E W G Allen (female, age 3), and C B Allen (male, age 1). S D Allen was a mechanic. [3]

Perhaps this Sanders Allen is the same person who married Julia Crane in 1861 and was listed in the 1865 census with 4 young children.

1860 Marcus D S Drummonds (age 3, born in Illinois) lived in Township 5 S Range 3 E, Franklin County, Illinois, in a household with James Crame (age 42), Julia A Crame (age 23), Francis M Crame (age 11), Samuel M Crame (age 9), Braxton P Crame (age 6), and Polina C Crone (age 1/12). [7]

1904 Dorotha C. Allen Thomas, age 41, and J. C. Carpenter were married in 1904 in Randolph County, Illinois. Dorotha C. Allen Thomas, daughter of Sanders D. Allen and Julia A. Varner, was born about 1863. [17]

1910 Calvert C Allen (age 43, born in Illinois, married for 9 years) lived in Herrin, Williamson County, Illinois, in a household with Margret A Allen (age 45), and daughter Iva D Allen (age 6). Calvert C Allen's father was born in Tennessee and his mother was born in Illinois. Calvert C Allen was a miner. [18]

1920 Caledonia Carpenter (age 50, born in Illinois, married), wife, lived in Coulterville, Randolph County, Illinois, in a household with George C Carpenter (age 62), and Walter Thomas (age 20). Caledonia Carpenter's parents were both born in USA. Caledonia Carpenter could read and write. [21]

1920 Cecil C Allen (age 55, born in Illinois, married) lived in Grassy, Williamson County, Illinois, in a household with Maggie Allen (age 62), Ivy Allen (age 15), and Jeff Deming (age 54). Cecil C Allen's parents were both born in Illinois. Cecil C Allen was a farmer. [22]

1942 Dorothia C. Carpenter, w, died on July 17 in Coulterville, Randolph County, Illinois. Dorothia C. Carpenter was buried on July 20, 1942, in Perry, Perry County, Illinois. She was born on August 29, 1862, in Illinois. [23]
