1767 George Rudy received a warrant for land in Dover Twp, York County. [1] [2] A survey showed John Pence as an adjacent landowner. [3] The warrant described improvements that had been made [4]:

Michael Bens 150 acres of Land including his improvement adjoining the Lands of Martin Weikle, Felty Hawn, John Bens, Martin Baur partly in Manchester & partly in Dover Twp York County about 4 mile from York Town.

George Rudy 150 A's of Land including his Improvem't adjoining the Lands of John Feifer, Adam Fink, Bernard Hingeiser Geo Ilgenfritz in Dover Township York County about 5 miles from York Town.

The 12th February 1767 Before me John Saurened? Esq. one of the Justice of the peace & personally appeared John Bens and on his solemn Affirmation according to Law doth declare & say that he knows the Improvements mentioned in the above Location respectively to be as follos viz That of Michael Bens A good House Barn & 6 a built & about 15 acres of Land cleared & to the best of his memory was began about 12 years ago and that of George Rudy a House Barn [?] built about 30 or 40 as cleared & was began about 15 or 16 years ago. And further this Affirmand saith not.

1768 George Rudy purchased land from Zacharias Shugart on March 24. The land was in Dover Twp, adjacent to lands of John Bentz and others. [5]

1770 George Rudy received a warrant for 25 acres of land on the road from York Town to North Creek settlement. [6]

1780 George Rudy and George Rudy Jun. and Henry Rudy were taxed in Dover Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [7]

1781 George Rudy and George Rudy Jun. and Henry Rudy were taxed in Dover Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [8]

1781 George Rudy and Andrew Hoke were executors for the will of John Hoke of Manchester Twp. [9]

1782 Weyrich Sr. died and dated his will in York Town, York County, on April 18, 1782. The will was proved on April 11, 1783. He left a wife (Anna Maria). The children named in the will are as follows: Whyrich, eldest son Jacob, Peter, George, four children of Christian late of Lancaster County deceased, Barbara spouse of Laurence Marchadent, Catharine (m. Jacob H/Keller), Anna Maria (m. George Rudy), Susanna (m. Abraham Trostle), Elizabeth deceased (m. Peter Deckart) and their daughter Catherina, Lizzie (m. Jacob Sidler), and Salome (m. Henry King), Ursula spouse of Jacob Lether. Henry Wolf the Elder and John Hay were named executors. [10] [11]

1783 George Rudy and wife Gertrout sold land to John Borowy on March 3 which George had previously purchased from Zacharias Shugart. The land was in Dover Twp, adjacent to lands of John Bentz and others. [12]

1785 George, Martin, Bernard, and Jacob Rudy were taxed in Dover Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [13]

1786 Barnet, George, Martin, and Jacob Rudy were taxed in 1786 in Dover Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [14]

1787 George Rudy (no land) and Henry Rudy (70 acres) were taxed in 1787 in Dover Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [15]

1790 Henery Rudey lived in Dover Twp, York County, Pennsylvania, in a household with 2 males under age 16, 1 males age 16 and over, and 1 females.

1790 Martin Ruday lived in Dover Twp, York County, Pennsylvania, in a household with 1 males under age 16, 1 males age 16 and over, and 4 females. [16]

1793 George Rudy and John Pence and others held lands adjoining the estate of Henry Bensel the Elder in Dover Twp, York County, according to records of the Orhans Court dated June 27. [17]

1800 Henry Rudy lived in Dover Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 2 (16 thru 25) and 1 (45 and over); and females: 1 (under 10) and 1 (16 thru 25). [18]

1804 Henry Rudy of Dover Twp wrote his will and named wife Barbara and sons George and Henry. [19]

The will named sons John, Jonas, Henry, George, and Samuel and children of daughters Elizabeth Scott, Catarine Warefield, Mary Wilson, Margaret Grayl, Barbara Morrison, and children of son Jacob. The will was proved on April 5, 1832. [27]

1859 The will of George Rudy (perhaps junior) was recorded in Newberry Twp. [28]
