Jacob Kuykendall's occupation was miller. [3]
1866 Daughter Mary Ann Kuykendall and W J Stepp were married on January 6 in Henderson County, North Carolina. [4] [5]
1867 Wm Cochran Senior and Wm Cochran Jr posted bond at the December court session assuring the appearance of defendants John T. Cochram, Wm M Kuykendall [son of daughter Mary Cockerham?], and Sam'l Price [spouse of Martha Louise Cochran, daughter of Jeptha?] at court in May next (item 14 or 19). John T., Wm Cochram [Jr.?], and Wm M Kuykendall were found guilty. John T. Cochram paid a fine of one penny. Wm Cochram Sen was to pay securities. (items 20-22) [6] [7]
1868 The state brought a court case against J.T. Cochram and W M Kuykendall. Polly Snowden was a witness for the state. They did not appear and were fined $80. [8]
1870 Wm M Keykendall, age 21, and Isabella Miles, age 15, were married on June 8 in Polk County, North Carolina. Wm M Keykendall was a son of Jacob Keykendall. [9] [10]
1870 Jacob Kuykendall (age 44, born in North Carolina) lived in Township 3, Polk County, North Carolina, in a household with Mary Kuykendall (age 38), David Kuykendall (age 18), Martha Kuykendall (age 15), Phillip B Kuykendall (age 10), Sarah Jane Kuykendall (age 3), Kezia Kuykendall (age 6/12), Marion Kuykendall (age 22), and Isabella Kuykendall (age 15). Jacob Kuykendall's occupation was farmer. Mary's brother Jeptha Cochran was listed on the same page of the census. [11]
1901 Mary Cochran Kuykendall died on May 12 and was buried at Enoree Baptist Church Cemetery, Travelers Rest, Greenville County, South Carolina. Mary Cochran Kuykendall was born on January 28, 1828. [12] [13]
1921 Son W M Kuykendall died on April 22, at age 72, in Drayton Twp, Spartanburg County, South Carolina. He was born in 1849, son of J C. Kuykendall and Mary Cochrell. [14]
1922 Son David C Kuykendall died on April 2, at age 62, in O'Neall, Greenville County, South Carolina. He was born in Henderson County, North Carolina, son of Jacob Kuykendall and Mary Scotchman (born in Tryon, North Carolina). [15]
1934 Son Phillip B Kuykendall died on June 25 and was buried at Fairhaven Memorial Park, Santa Ana, Orange County, California. Phillip B Kuykendall was born in May, 1860. [16] [17]
