1770 Elia Wolf was taxed as a single man with his father in Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [1]

1777 Nicholas, Jeremiah, Elias, and Jacob Wolf were taxed as freeholders in Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [2] Another list reported Andrew, Elick, Valen (sadler), and Nicolaus Wolff. [3]

1778 Nicholas, Elias, and Valentine Wolf were taxed in Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [4]

1779 Elias Wolf [5] and Jacob Wolf [6] were listed on the septennial census in 1779 in Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

1779 Ely and Jacob (oil mill) Wolff were taxed in Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [7] Another list included Elias, Jacob, Nicklous, and Abraham. [8]

1782 Nicholas, Jacob (one oil mill), and Elias Wolf were taxed in Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [9]

1783 Nicholas and Elias Wolf were taxed in Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [10]

1783 The will of Jeremiah Wolf of Cocalico Twp, written in German, was recorded on April 16 in Lancaster County. Benjamin Landes and Jacob Stoll were witnesses. John Shrantz and Jacob Sties were named as executors. [11]

1784-85 Land from the estate of Jeremiah Wolf, deceased, of Cocalico Twp was distributed among three sons: Jeremiah, Jacob, and Elias Wolf.

1784 John Shrantz and Jacob Sties, executors of the will of Jeremiah Wolf, deceased, granted land from the estate to Jeremiah Wolf of Cumberland County, son of Jeremiah Wolf, deceased. Deed dated June 26. [12]

1784 Jeremiah and wife Elizabeth of Cumberland County sold land to John Brubaker of Warwick Twp. The land was part of the estate of Jeremiah Wolf, deceased. Deed dated June 26, 1784. [15]

1785 Jeremiah Wolf of Cumberland County and Jacob Wolf of Warwick Twp, Lancaster County granted land to Elias Wolf, all sons of Jeremiah Wolf, deceased. Jeremiah senior had Patent AA3-250, dated April 28, 1752 for 180 acres in Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County. By his will, dated August 21, 1779, Jeremiah granted the land to sons Jeremiah, Jacob, and Elias. Jacob inherited the oil and hemp mills. The deed specified a change to the partition of the estate. The deed was dated June 25, 1784 and was witnessed by Thomas Clark and Abraham Dierdorf. [16]

1790 Elias Wolfe lived in Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in a household with 5 males under age 16, 1 males age 16 and over, and 2 females. [17]

1800 Elias Wolff lived in Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 2 (10 thru 15), 2 (16 thru 25), 1 (26 thru 44), and 1 (45 and over); and females: 1 (10 thru 15) and 1 (45 and over). [18]

1810 Elsy Woolf lived in Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (under 10), 1 (10 thru 15), 2 (16 thru 25), 1 (26 thru 44), and 1 (45 and over); and females: 1 (16 thru 25), 1 (26 thru 44), and 1 (45 and over). [19]

1820 Eli Wolf lived in Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (45 and over); and females: 1 (16 thru 25) and 1 (45 and over). [20]

1823 Elias and Barbara Wolf granted land to Jacob Wolf [perhaps their son], all of Cocalico Twp. Elias had inherited the land from his father Jeremiah Wolf and had purchased ome of the land from his brother Jeremiah and Elizabeth Wolf. [21]

1824 Elias Wolf of Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania dated his will on April 4. The will named wife Barbara, mentioned assets from the estate of deceased son Jacob and from son George for deeds that were executed for them on May 28, 1823. The children of deceased daughter Elizabeth (late the wife of John Mohler) were given a bequest. Deceased son Abraham had received his share. Grandson Abraham, son of Abraham, was to be given a bequest when he arrived at age 21. The remainder of the estate was to go to sons John and Samuel. Son John of Earl Twp, miller, was named executor. Heirs were warned not to dispute the terms of the will. The will was affirmed in probate court and John Wolf was appointed executor on August 9, 1827. [22]

1827 Elias Wolf died on June 4 (aged 79) and was buried at Brownstown Evangelical Cemetery, Brownstown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Elias Wolf was reported born on June 24, 1747. [23]

1827 Samuel Wolf of Cocalico Twp, and son of Elias Wolf, sold his inheritance from the estate to brother George Wolf of Warwick Twp, Lancaster County. George Wolf assumed all debts that Samuel Wolf might have to the estate. George Wolf was appointed lawful attorney for Samuel Wolf. Deed dated August 13. [24]

1828 George Wolf gave an account of legacies paid to Samuel Wolf and referred to Samuel's 1827 sale of Samuel's inheritance to George Wolf in a deed releasing executor John Wolf from further claims. Deed dated November 6. [25]

1840 The heirs of Elizabeth Mohler, deceased daughter of Elias Wolf, were parties to a deed to receive their share of the estate. The heirs were Nancy, Elias, and Jacob. Nancy was married to Michael Cober of Ephrata Twp. Nancy received her share. [26]
