1766 Jeremias Wolf, Jr. joined the Conestoga congegration of the German Baptist (Anabaptist) Church on October 11. [1]

1769 Jermias Wolf, Conrad Wolf (perhaps Jeremiah's cousin), Widow Wolf (?), and Andrew Wolf (?) were taxed in Warwick Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [2]

1770 Jeremias Woolf, Conrad Woolf, and Andrew Wolf were taxed as inmates in Warwick Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [3]

1771 Jeremiah Woolf and Conrad Woolf were taxed in Warwick Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [4]

1772 Jeremiah Wolf (leb.) and Conrad Wolf (Rent to Habecker) were taxed in Warwick Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Several listings have the word "Lebourn" or "Lebord" or "Lebourmen", perhaps indicating laborer. [5]

1770 Jeremiah Woolf Jr and his wife were "in full communion" with the Conestoga congegration of the German Baptist (Anabaptist) Church. [8]

1783 The will of Jeremiah Wolf of Cocalico Twp, written in German, was recorded on April 16 in Lancaster County. Benjamin Landes and Jacob Stoll were witnesses. John Shrantz and Jacob Sties were named as executors. [9]

1784-85 Land from the estate of Jeremiah Wolf, deceased, of Cocalico Twp was distributed among three sons: Jeremiah, Jacob, and Elias Wolf.

1784 John Shrantz and Jacob Sties, executors of the will of Jeremiah Wolf, deceased, granted land from the estate to Jeremiah Wolf of Cumberland County, son of Jeremiah Wolf, deceased. Deed dated June 26. [10]

1784 John Shrantz and Jacob Sties, executors of the will of Jeremiah Wolf, deceased, granted land from the estate to Elias Wolf of Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County, son of Jeremiah Wolf, deceased. Deed dated June 26. Deed dated June 26. [11] [12]

1784 Jeremiah and wife Elizabeth of Cumberland County sold land to John Brubaker of Warwick Twp. The land was part of the estate of Jeremiah Wolf, deceased. Deed dated June 26, 1784. [13]

1785 Jeremiah Wolf was on the tax list for Midleton Twp, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [14] [15]

1785 Jeremiah Wolf of Cumberland County and Jacob Wolf of Warwick Twp, Lancaster County granted land to Elias Wolf, all sons of Jeremiah Wolf, deceased. Jeremiah senior had Patent AA3-250, dated April 28, 1752 for 180 acres in Cocalico Twp, Lancaster County. By his will, dated August 21, 1779, Jeremiah granted the land to sons Jeremiah, Jacob, and Elias. Jacob inherited the oil and hemp mills. The deed specified a change to the partition of the estate. The deed was dated June 25, 1784 and was witnessed by Thomas Clark and Abraham Dierdorf. [16]

1785 Jeremiah Wolf, of Middleton Twp, Cumberland County, purchased land in Cumberland County from Abraham Stouffer. [17]

1786 Jeremiah Wolf of Cumberland County dated his will in Middleton Twp dated his will on June 20. The will was proved on September 6. The will named wife Elizabeth, unmarried son John, son Jacob, Mary, Regina and her husband, Catharina, and Elizabeth, an unborn son, son Martin, and perhaps other children. Friends Jacob Miller and Addam Brand were named executors. [18] [19]

1787 The executors of the estate of Jeremiah Wolf were directed by the Cumberland County Orphans Court to sell the estate and to settle debts. [20]

1796 John and Mary Wolf of Middleton Twp, Cumberland County, sold land from the estate of Jeremiah Wolf, purchased from Abraham Stouffer, to Henry Wolf of Derry Twp, Dauphin County. [21]

1800 John and Mary Wolf of Middleton Twp, Cumberland County, sold land from the estate of Jeremiah Wolf, purchased from Abraham Stouffer, to Gilson Craighead. [22]

1831 John Wolf Sr and wife Mary sold land to John Wolf Jr in South Middleton Twp, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. One tract was adjacent to lands of Andrew Wolf. [23]

1837 John Wolf and John Zug, executors of the estate of John Wolf Sr sold land from his estate to Jacob Nisely. One tract had been purchased from Abraham Stoufer by Jeremiah Wolf. [24]

Research Notes:

A different John Wolf, son of Jacob, also lived in North Middleton, Cumberland County at this time. [25]
