1808 Andrew Cochran sold land on Swearingen's fork of Beaver Creek in Barren County, Kentucky to John Bayliss on July 25. [1]

1821 The will of Andrew Cochran Sen'r was dated on September 8 in Barren County, Kentucky. The will named 5 children: sons Samuel A Cochran and James Cochran, daughter Sally, daughter Rachael, daughter Molly. The children were not married. [2]

1822 James Cochran of Mercer County and Samuel Cochran of Barren County, Kentucky, heirs and devisees of Andrew Cochran deceased, sold land on the waters of Beaver Creek, Barren County to James Burnett on June 18. [3]

1828 Rachel Cochran, Andrew Cochran, John Cochran, Francis Cochran, William D McCasland and Polly McCasland (late Polly Cochran) of Indiana appointed James Cochran with power of attorney for the estate of Samuel Cochran deceased of Barren County. Samuel died intestate without issue or wife. James Wood was the administrator. Samuel was the brother of Andrew, Rachael, John, Francis Cochran and Polly McCasland. James Cochran was also an heir. Date: October 18. [4]

1829 James Cochran sold land from the estate of Samuel Cochran to John Pursley on November 3. James Cochran, Rachel Cochran Cochran, Andrew Cochran, John Cochran, Francis Cochran, William D McCasland, Polly McCasland his wife late Polly Cochran, and Sally Cummins late Sally Cochran, and Martha Anderson late Martha Cochran, the last two of Barren County Kentucky and the others of Jefferson County Indiana were legatees of Samuel Cochran deceased. The names were repeated inconsistently in the document. The signature list named: James Cochran attorney for Polly McCasland, William McCasland, Sarah Cummins, John Cochran, Andrew Cochran, Francis Cochran, and Rachel Croghan. [5]

1830 James Cochran lived in Jefferson County, Indiana in a household with males: 1 (5 thru 9), 2 (15 thru 19), 2 (20 thru 29), and 1 (30 thru 39); and females: 1 (5 thru 9), 1 (10 thru 14), 1 (15 thru 19), and 1 (20 thru 29). [7]

1840 James Cochran lived in Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana in a household with males: 1 (Under 5), 1 (5 thru 9), 1 (10 thru 14), 1 (15 thru 19), 1 (20 thru 29), 1 (30 thru 39), and 1 (40 thru 49); and females: 1 (Under 5), 1 (15 thru 19), and 1 (20 thru 29). [8]

1820 John Cochran lived in Jefferson County, Indiana in a household with males: 1 (Under 10) and 1 (26 thru 44); and females: 1 (26 thru 44). [9]

1830 John Cochran lived in Jefferson County, Indiana in a household with males: 2 (5 thru 9), 1 (10 thru 14), and 1 (40 thru 49); and females: 2 (Under 5) and 1 (30 thru 39). [10]

1836 The will of John Cochran was dated July 11 and was received on September 24. The will named wife Polly and children Andrew, Ezekiel, Stephen, Martha, Elizabeth, and Sarah. [11]

1820 Francis Cochran lived in Jefferson County, Indiana in a household with males: 1 (26 thru 44); and females: 1 (16 thru 25). [12]

1830 Francis Cochran lived in Jefferson County, Indiana in a household with males: 1 (5 thru 9) and 1 (30 thru 39); and females: 1 (5 thru 9) and 1 (30 thru 39). [13]

1820 Andrew Cochran lived in Jefferson County, Indiana in a household with males: 1 (26 thru 44); and females: 1 (Under 10) and 1 (16 thru 25). [14]

1830 Andrew Cochran lived in Jefferson County, Indiana in a household with males: 1 (Under 5), 2 (5 thru 9), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (30 thru 39); and females: 2 (Under 5), 1 (10 thru 14), and 1 (30 thru 39). [15]

1840 Andw Cockran lived in Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana in a household with males: 2 (Under 5), 1 (5 thru 9), 1 (10 thru 14), 2 (15 thru 19), and 1 (40 thru 49); and females: 1 (Under 5), 2 (5 thru 9), 2 (10 thru 14), 1 (15 thru 19), and 1 (40 thru 49). [16]

1824 Mary G. Cochran and William D. McCaslen were married on April 22 in Jefferson County, Indiana. [17] [18]

1830 William D McCasland lived in Jefferson County, Indiana in a household with males: 1 (30 thru 39); and females: 1 (10 thru 14) and 2 (20 thru 29). [19]

1871 William D. McCasland, spouse of Catherine McCasland, died on October 23 in Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana of America. He was born in 1797 in Virginia, United States of America, son of William McCasland and Elenor McCasland. [20]

1830 James Cummins lived in Barren County, Kentucky in a household with free white males: 1 (Under 5), 1 (5 thru 9), and 1 (30 thru 39); and free white females: 1 (Under 5), 1 (5 thru 9), and 1 (20 thru 29); and 2 enslaved persons. [21]

1830 Martha Anderson lived in Barren County, Kentucky in a household with males: 1 (10 thru 14) and 1 (20 thru 29); and females: 1 (20 thru 29) and 1 (50 thru 59). [22]
