John Jeremiah Cochran and William R Cochran both have DNA matches with Robert which suggest that they are related to Nancy Cochran. Their residence in Georgia might link them to William Cochran. Tney were born too late to be children of William, so this skipped generation is a placeholder for an unknown generation.

DNA John Jeremiah Cochran. Pickett descendants are matched with descendants of Jeremiah Robert Cochran (1858-1925), son of John Jeremiah Cochran. [1] [2] [3] Several descendants of Isaiah and Nancy Cochran Pickett are DNA matches to both Robert Wolfe and the descendants of Jeremiah Robert Cochran. We suspect that Ellen (born c 1848), spouse of Isaac Parker, was a sister of Jeremiah R Cochran, both children of John Jeremiah Cochran. A descendant of John Jeremiah Cochran reports that John Jeremiah's mother was named Morgan and that he had siblings named Nancy, Morgan, Thomas, William, Melissa, and Susan. Robert Wolfe has several DNA matches (administered by Charles Venable) with descendants of Ella Cochran (1848-1927), spouse of Isaac Parker (1852-1931). Members of the Graham family lived with Joseph Cochran age 1 in 1860 and age 10 in 1870 and with John F Cochran age 40 in 1860. Joseph Cochran was perhaps a son of John F Cochran and Susan B Graham. Perhaps this was Joseph A Cochran, father of Charles B Cochran. These documents report ambiguity about the birthplace of Joseph Cochran: perhaps Georgia or perhaps Alabama, as does his obituary.

1851 John B. Graham and Eunice H. Patrick were married on August 12 in Sumter County, Alabama. Other researchers suggest that Eunice had maiden name Hale.

Cochran Funeral Is Slated Today
TEMPE, Dec. 12 - Funeral services, for J .A. Cochran, 95 years old, former valley farmer who died Saturday morning in Coolidge, will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the Coolidge Methodist Church. He was the father of Walter Cochran of Tempe and J. M. Cochran of Tolleson.

Mr. Cochran, a native of Alabama came to Arizona in 1913 from Muskogee, Okla., locating on a farm south of Tempe. He later moved to the Glendale vicinity where he engaged in farming until he retired in 1939. Since then he resided in Coolidge. Despite his advanced years he had been in good health.

Surviving are his wife, Belle, four sons, Malmuth, a prisoner of war in the Philippines; J. A. jr., Ajo; C. B. and Robert Cochran, Colton, Calif.; two daughters. Mrs. Floyd Hammon and Mrs. Lula Mae Rogers, Coolidge, 26 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

1945 Olivia Bells Cochran, widowed, died on July 8, at age 84, in Ajo, Pima County, Arizona. She was born on January 6, 1861, in Bell Co Texas, USA, daughter of Hodge and Hodge. [61]
