1742 Jacob Reber, late of Manheim Twp, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, and now of Schuylkill Haven, dated his will on October 9. He left bequests to wife Rosanna and nine children: Hannah the wife of Henry Hertzel, Elizabeth the wife of Jacob Hertzel, Moses, Jacob, Charles, William, Joseph, Margaret, and Daniel. Son Jacob was to receive a yearly payment by the executors from investment of his share. Sons Moses and Charles and friend Christopher Loeser were named as executors. The will was affirmed by the witnesses on February 1, 1843. [1]
