Documents suggest that Heinrich Steiner had at least three wives. Catherine was named on baptismal records. Daughter Christina, spouse of Heinrich Steiner, was named in the 1816 will of her father George Weber. Susanna was named in Heinrich Steiner's 1828 will. We show Catherine, Christine Weber, and Susanna as successive wives of this Henry Steiner.

Charles Sandwick provides this summary of Henry, son of Friedrich Heinrich Steiner and Anna Volz [74]:

Henry, born 27 Oct 1766, was said in 1820 to be in Lititz [Lititz Borough was founded by Moravians and is enclosed within the Township of Warwick, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania][75]. He was confirmed in the Lutheran congegration of Zion Stone Church, Allen Township, 2 May 1789. Henry and Catharine Steiner had three daughters baptized at that church in the interval 1790-1794, two by the Reformed minister and the third by the Lutheran paster.

Several other researchers suggest, as do we, that this Henry Steiner; of Elizabeth Twp, Lancaster County, whose heirs were named in his will dated 1828 (the eldest heir was born in 1791); was the same person as Henry Steiner, son of Heinrich Friederich Steiner and Anna Elizabeth Volz, born on October 27, 1766, in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. We seek further evidence to clarify this potential relationship, such as a birth record. We also have notes for Henry Stoner [76], blacksmith of Northampton County, son of Abraham Gottleib Stoner and Salome, who is shown as a cousin of this Henry. We show both Abraham Gottleib Stoner, spouse of Salome, and Heinrich Friederich Steiner, spouse of Anna Elizabeth Volz, as sons of Abraham Stoner and Mary Lieb/Laub.

Catharine Koch has been suggested as the name of Heinrich Steiner's first wife Catharine. We seek evidence for this potential relationship.

1777 John Koch of Allen Twp dated his will on May 27. The will named two youngest daughters Catherine and Christina, wife Maria Sarah; eldest son John George, youngest son Daniel, daughter Elizabeth wife of Jacob Meyer, daughter Barbara. Wife Maria Sarah was named executor. The will was affirmed in probate court on December 13, 1782 by Abraham Bömper, Abr Andrease and John Okley. [77]

1786 George and Daniel Coach were taxed in Allen Twp, Northampton County. [78]

1787 George and Daniel Cook were taxed in Allen Twp, Northampton County. [79]

1789 George and Daniel Coch were taxed in Allen Twp, Northampton County. [80]

1790 George and Daniel Coch were taxed in Allen Twp, Northampton County. [81]

1791 Daniel Koch and wife Eliabeth sold land from the estate of John Koch to Abraham Landes. "Maria Sarah Koch in and by a certain Deed Poll or Instrument in writing dated the twelfth day of November in the year 1790 for the Consideration therein mentioned did grant convey and assign unto the said Daniel Koch all her right Title Interest Claim and Demand which she the said Maria Sarah so had in the said Messuage and Tract of Land during her natural life as in and by the said Deed Poll relation being thereunto more fully & at large may appear … under the condition of his paying the sum of Five Hundred Pounds to his brothers and Sisters as aforesaid … ". The brothers and sisters were not named in this deed. The 1790 deed has not been found. Orphan Court records have not been found. [82]

1794 An abstract of the will of Maria Sarah Koch of Allen Twp, widow of John, reports [83]:
